Go Red Goes VIRTUAL!
12pm - 1pm
If you would like to purchase a ticket, please click on the Registration Button.
A link will be sent to you prior to the event.
Join us to raise awareness and take action to end heart disease and stroke in women. You will hear from our campaign leaders, an inspiring STEM Goes Red student and have the opportunity to participate in a Q&A “Talk with a Doc” session. There will be interactive polls, a personal story from a local survivor on how COVID-19 is affecting her and her family and an opportunity to make a donation if you are able.
While we have much to celebrate on April 30th, our program will also cover the latest information on heart disease and the impact of COVID-19. As always, our mission remains to be a relentless force for a world of longer, healthier lives. We hope to inspire even more individuals with information and tools to prevent heart disease and stroke.
Finally, don’t forget to wear your RED! While we won’t be together physically, we will rally the community to show their support virtually. Please take pictures in your red and post to social media using #CincyGoRed.
We can do this together!
Fifteen years ago, Go Red for Women was born as a campaign to raise awareness among women about their great health threat – heart disease. Slowly, the campaign grew into a movement – one that not only brought together thousands of women annually but became the trusted, passionate, relevant force for change to eradicate heart disease and stroke all over the world. Go Red for Women provides a platform for women and their families to lead healthier lives, and drive collective action for community transformation. It’s not just about wearing red; it’s not just about sharing heart health facts. It’s about:
The Go Red for Women luncheon continues to serve as the cornerstone event of the Go Red for Women movement in local communities. This empowering event focuses on preventing heart disease and stroke by promoting healthy lifestyles, building awareness and raising critically-needed funds to support research and education initiatives. Cardiovascular diseases, which include stroke, claim the life of a woman about every 80 seconds. We hope you will join us on our mission because about 80 percent of cardiovascular diseases may be prevented.
The time is now. Women are leaning into the idea that when we take a stand, commit, and work together, real change is possible.
